About Me
Hi, I’m Grace Fox. I grew up traveling the back roads of America, collecting stories the way some people collect postcards. The places I’ve seen, the people I’ve met, and the dreams I’ve carried with me all find their way into my writing.
I’ve always written from a deeper place, sometimes from dreams that stay with me long after I wake, sometimes from fragments of past lives that surface in quiet moments. Even as a child, I could remember every detail of my dreams and retell them for hours, and I still carry that gift today. Those visions shape my stories, guiding me toward ruins, symbols, and characters who feel like they’ve been waiting for me all along.
Before stepping into fiction, I spent years designing and producing large-scale events for Fortune 500 companies and global brands. My focus was always on detail, artistry, and bringing a vision to life, transforming a client’s dream into a tangible, one-of-a-kind experience. Looking back, I realize this has been my path all along. Storytelling has always been a part of me.
I don’t consider myself a distinguished author. I think of myself more like a roadside attraction. A storyteller who wants to pull you in with a tale so intriguing that it changes the way you see the world. A glimpse behind a curtain. A story that stays with you and shifts something inside you.
Now, I write full time, chasing myths through deserts and ruins and into the lives of my characters. I’m a member of San Diego Writers, Ink., and I have a short story published in San Diego Woman Magazine.
